Problem

When I drag and drop a texture to a ground fill area it covers the entire ground. How do I apply a texture to a specific area?

Solution

Try zooming in, so you can be sure that you are dropping the material onto the desired location. If this does not work, you may need to adjust the video settings in your computer.

Windows Xp

Right click on your desktop then select Properties.
Click on Settings then Advanced then Troubleshoot.
Put the Hardware acceleration to 1 above none, then hit apply and ok or close.

Windows Vista & Windows 7,

With the software closed, right click on the Punch icon on your desktop
- Click on properties
- Click on the Compatibility tab
- Check the box next to "run program in compatibility mode"
- Make sure the pull down menu below "run program in compatibility mode" says Windows XP service pack 2
- Under settings, check the box next to Disable Desktop Composition (middle of the compatibility window)
- Click on Apply and OK
